What is ChainPot Snake?
ChainPot Snake is a fast, competitive take on the classic. You join a room, pay your entry in SOL, and battle live against other players in real time. Cut rivals off, force them into crashes, and be the last one slithering to claim the pooled entry fees.
Every pot is held and paid out by an on-chain Solana program — there is no custodian and no withdrawal queue. When you win, the payout lands in your wallet automatically.

Strategy & tips: how to win more Snake
Control space before you chase kills
Space wins snake matches, not aggression. Carve out a pocket of the arena where you can always turn, and let reckless players crash into each other while the pot grows. In a 20-player Arena, half the field is usually gone in the first minute — you just have to still be there.
Cut opponents off, don’t chase them
You can’t win a head-on hit — you trap. Draw your body across a rival’s path so their only option is to crash into you or run out of room. Chasing a snake’s tail just burns your own space and sets you up to be cut off in turn.
Patient in Arena, decisive in Cashout
In a 20-player Arena the pot rewards patience brutally: every rival who eliminates themselves raises both your share and your odds. In a Cashout room it’s the opposite — set a banked target, hit it, and cash out while you’re alive. A greedy extra lap into a wall hands the whole balance back.
Respect the walls, spend boost wisely
The arena boundary is the most reliable killer in the game, and in Cashout a wall forfeits everything you’ve banked. Fight for the center, treat the outer third as dangerous ground, and save your boost for closing a trap or escaping one — never boost blind into traffic.
Snake for SOL: frequently asked questions
Is ChainPot Snake free to play?
You can watch and learn for free, but every room has a SOL entry fee that forms the pot. There is no signup, no subscription, and no in-app currency — you pay the entry straight from your Solana wallet and win real SOL.
How does the snake pot pay out?
Every player’s entry fee is pooled into the room’s pot and held by an on-chain Solana program. When the match resolves, the winner’s payout is sent directly to their wallet — usually within seconds, with no manual claim and no withdrawal queue.
What’s the difference between 1v1, Arena, and Cashout?
1v1 Duel is head-to-head, winner takes the pot. Arena packs up to 20 players and pays the last snake standing. Cashout rooms are always-on: each kill banks your victim’s entry fee, and you can cash out any time you’re alive — or forfeit the balance if you hit a wall.
Do I play against bots?
No. Every opponent is a real player who paid the same SOL entry you did. The simulation is server-authoritative and settlement is on-chain, so there are no house bots padding the field.
What do I need to start playing snake for SOL?
