Four steps: (1) Install a wallet — we recommend Phantom (phantom.com), a free browser extension and mobile app; Solflare works just as well. Install only from the official site. (2) During setup, write your 12-word recovery phrase on paper and keep it offline — anyone with those words controls your funds, and ChainPot will never ask for it. (3) Add SOL by buying it directly in the wallet with a card, or by sending it from an exchange like Coinbase, Kraken, or Binance. (4) Hit Connect wallet on the site, approve, and sign the free login message. The homepage has a step-by-step wallet guide with more detail.

Phantom, Solflare, and Torus are supported. Connect from the top-right of any page; if no wallet is detected the site will prompt you to install one. We never custody your keys — every entry, payout, and refund happens on-chain.

Signing the “Chain Pot login nonce” message proves you control the wallet without spending any SOL or paying a network fee. The signature authenticates your session — no transaction is sent and no fee is charged. We only ever ask for a signature on connect or session refresh, never for a transfer.

ChainPot runs on Solana. The active network (devnet or mainnet) is shown in the top bar and on your wallet activity. Make sure your wallet is on the same network before joining a room — sending SOL on the wrong network does not credit your seat.

Yes — the lobby and game work on mobile browsers with a connected mobile wallet (Phantom or Solflare). Touch-and-drag steers the snake; mobile devices that support haptics will also vibrate on kills and respawns. Desktop is still recommended for ARENA matches because of the larger viewport.

ChainPot is a real-time skill game. There is no wheel, no dice, and no house betting against you — you win by outplaying other people in a live snake or football match, and the outcome is decided entirely by how well everyone plays. The platform never takes a position in a match; it only pools the entry fees and pays the pot to the winner. That said, you are staking real SOL against real opponents, so play within your means and read the risk disclosure first.

Entry fees start at 0.1 SOL for the smallest rooms, plus a tiny amount of SOL for Solana network fees (fractions of a cent). You never deposit a balance with us — you just need enough SOL in your own wallet to cover the entry of the room you want to join.

No. ChainPot runs entirely in your web browser — there is no app to download and no game client to install. The only thing you need is a Solana wallet (Phantom or Solflare), which is a free browser extension or mobile app.

Three formats are live: 1v1 (custom stakes), ARENA (last-snake-standing for 3, 10, 15, or 20 players at 0.1, 0.5, or 1 SOL entry), and CASHOUT (always-open rooms where every kill pays out instantly and you can leave with your bank at any time).

Yes. Chain Cup is ChainPot’s football game — real-time 2D matches from a 1v1 duel up to 8v8, played with the same wallet and the same on-chain settlement as snake. Pay your SOL entry, outscore the other team, and the winning side splits the pot equally. You can switch between snake and football from the game picker any time.

Tournaments are hosted knockout cups: players register with a SOL entry, the bracket seeds when registration closes, and you advance by winning your matches until a champion takes the top prize. The prize pool is escrowed on-chain and paid to the top finishers automatically. Open a tournament’s page to see its entry fee, prize split, and start time, then register from there — or share the invite link so friends can join.

It depends on the mode. In 1v1 and ARENA rooms, the last snake alive wins the entire prize pool. In CASHOUT rooms there is no “winner” — you bank the entry fees of every snake you eliminate and you can cash that bank out whenever you want.

CASHOUT rooms are always live at 0.1, 0.5, and 1 SOL entry tiers. There is no countdown — pay the entry fee and you spawn immediately into a running room. Rooms stay open as long as at least one player is connected, and dead players can rejoin by paying again. There is no final winner: the round simply continues.

When you eliminate another player, their entry fee is transferred to your wallet on-chain. If a player dies on the wall instead of by your blade, their entry fee drops as a glowing fee pellet at the death location and the next snake to collect it banks the SOL. You can cash out your accumulated bank at any safe moment.

Yes — that is the whole point of the “cashout” name. While you are alive, you can trigger a cash-out from inside the game; your accumulated bank is settled to your wallet on-chain and you exit the room. If you die before cashing out, your unbanked entry fee drops as a pellet for the next player to collect.

Every entry is paid in SOL. For 1v1 rooms, both players pay a 5% platform fee per seat; the winner takes the rest of the pot. For ARENA rooms, the same 5% per-seat fee applies and the winner takes the rest. 1v1 rooms additionally enforce a 0.01 SOL per-seat anti-spam floor — at very small entries the platform fee bumps up to that floor. For CASHOUT rooms, a flat 0.02 SOL fee is paid on top of the entry tier; the entry itself funds the kill / fee-pellet payouts inside the room. Cancel before a 1v1/ARENA room starts and your full entry refunds — only on-chain gas is lost. If the player who paid the fee was referred, 20% of that platform fee is automatically routed to their referrer’s claim balance (see the referral FAQ).

Steer with your Mouse, your WASD/Arrow keys, or by touch on mobile. Activate equipped power-ups (Speed Boost, Bomb, etc.) using the number keys 1–5 on desktop or the on-screen power-up buttons on mobile.

1v1 rooms launch as soon as a challenger joins. ARENA rooms run a countdown — if at least two players are seated, the match begins at the end of the timer; otherwise the countdown resets while the room stays open. If an ARENA room is full, it starts immediately. CASHOUT rooms are always already running, so you spawn straight in.

No. While you are seated in any waiting or running room, the lobby disables joins and creates for every other room — the buttons read “Already in a Room.” This prevents accidentally double-paying entry fees. Cancel or finish your current room before starting another.

You can cancel it at any time before the match starts. Your full entry is refunded automatically — only on-chain gas is lost.

If you disconnect during a 1v1 or ARENA match, your snake is removed and you can rejoin (starting fresh) only during the first 2 minutes; after that the arena locks. In CASHOUT rooms you can always reconnect to the same wallet, but if you died while disconnected your entry fee has already dropped as a fee pellet.

If a 1v1 or ARENA room is aborted before it produces a winner — for example if the game-server stops sending heartbeats — the worker refunds every paid seat to its original wallet automatically. Refunds appear in your wallet activity within a few minutes of the abort. You do not need to file a ticket for an aborted-room refund.

The payout transaction is submitted to Solana within seconds of the match ending and typically lands in your wallet in under a minute. You can confirm the transfer in your wallet activity or on a block explorer using the signature shown on your Profile page. Payouts are idempotent — even if the worker restarts mid-payout, you are never paid twice and never skipped.

No. Power-ups are purchased on the Shop page only and equipped before entering a room. You can trigger an equipped power-up while playing; once the inventory for that power-up runs out you cannot replenish until after the match.

Extra Life (max 3) — revives you once on death with brief invulnerability. Speed Boost (max 5) — short burst of speed. Magnet (max 3) — pulls nearby orbs toward you. Ghost (max 3) — short window of collision immunity. Zoom (max 5) — temporarily widens your view. Bomb (max 5) — drops an explosive that clears the area around you.

Share your unique referral link from the Profile page. When someone visits the site through your link and connects a wallet for the first time, they’re bound to you as a referee for 365 days. During that window you earn 20% of the platform fee on every room they play — for 1v1 and ARENA rooms that’s 20% of the 5% per-seat fee (≈1% of their entry per seat), and for CASHOUT rooms that’s 20% of the flat 0.02 SOL join fee (0.004 SOL per join). Earnings accumulate as a claim balance shown on your Profile page; once it reaches 0.001 SOL you can claim it to your wallet at any time. The first referee who connects through your link wins — you can’t change a referee’s referrer once they’re bound, and self-referrals don’t count.

Referral earnings are routed atomically with the player’s entry. When a referee joins a 1v1 / ARENA / CASHOUT room, the on-chain program splits the platform fee in the same transaction — 20% goes to your referrer balance and the rest to the platform fee wallet. Nothing is held off-chain waiting on a worker, and there’s no separate “distribution day.” Your Profile page shows every credit (with the source room and the referee’s wallet) and the running claimable total. Claims are processed on-chain in seconds, exactly like a match payout, and a small 0.001 SOL minimum prevents wasted gas on tiny claims.

The monthly board ranks the top 50 wallets by score. Scores accrue from surviving long matches, winning ARENA / 1v1 rooms, and from CASHOUT kills. There are no ties — every match ends deterministically.

No. Matches are human-only. We actively enforce anti-bot rate limits and behavioral checks so every lobby is a fair fight.

ChainPot is non-custodial: we never hold your private keys and we cannot move your SOL. Your wallet stays in your control the entire time. Entry fees, pots, payouts, and refunds are all handled by an on-chain Solana program, not by us — so there is no company balance to freeze, no withdrawal queue, and nothing for us to run off with. The only funds that ever leave your wallet are the entry fees you explicitly approve.

Two things keep it fair. The match itself runs on a server-authoritative simulation, so no client can cheat the physics, and every lobby is human-only with anti-bot enforcement. The money is provably fair: entry fees, the pot, and the payout are all recorded on Solana, so anyone can verify on a block explorer that the winner received exactly the pooled pot minus the published fee. Nothing about the settlement is hidden or off-chain.

ChainPot runs game servers in multiple regions (currently Europe, with North America and Asia-Pacific available) and routes you to the nearest one for the lowest latency. You can also pick a region preference when creating or joining a room. Access and eligibility depend on your local laws — read the terms and risk disclosure to make sure playing for real SOL is permitted where you are.

When we deploy major upgrades or fix on-chain infrastructure we temporarily flip the lobby into maintenance mode. New joins and creates are paused; matches already in progress finish normally and pay out as usual. The banner clears automatically when maintenance ends.

All transactions are processed automatically on Solana. If a payout or refund looks stuck, check your wallet activity on a block explorer first — most “stuck” payouts are simply confirming.
